The Barton Hills community is saddened at the passing of Walter Esch on July 4, 2017.  Mr. Esch  was 91, having served as Barton Hills Superintendent since 1949.  The complete obituary is available online at www.niefuneralhomes.com/obituaries.  Visitation will be held on Friday July 7, 2017 from 2-8 PM at the Nie Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty Road, Ann Arbor MI 48103.  Funeral will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday July 8, 2017 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2065 S. Wagner Road, Ann Arbor MI 48103.  Luncheon will follow the service.  Please note due to construction entrance to the church is available only coming from the south on Wagner Road.
