TRUSTEES OF BARTON HILLS VILLAGE

April 13, 2015

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President Boddie at 6:01 PM at the Village Hall.

ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Al-Awar, Benson, Boddie, Borel, Butterwick, Langford, MacKrell.and van der Velde. Absent: Trustee Izenberg.  Others attending: Asst. Treasurer King and Supt. Esch.

PUBLIC COMMENT None.

MINUTES Minutes of the March 9, 2015 Trustees meeting were approved as printed. (Butterwick/van der Velde/P)

FINANCE/FINANCE COMMITTEE The Cash Balances report was distributed; CD maturity dates were corrected (ONB 9/12/15, Flagstar 1265 10/19/15, Flagstar 2552 10/1315). The Cash Disbursements for March 2015 were approved as printed (Aux. Book XIX E). (Butterwick/Langford/P)           Mrs. MacKrell arrived

Zoning and Planning Administrator (Perry) No report.

Planning Commission (MacKrell) No report.           Mr. Al-Awar arrived

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Recreation (Benson) The BHV Picnic was scheduled for Sunday afternoon September 13, 2015.

Security (Butterwick) Motion to purchase an emergency siren for installation on Barton North Drive at a cost of $18,625 failed (yes: Butterwick, Langford, MacKrell, van der Velde;  no: Al-Awar, Benson, Boddie, Borel). Barton Hills Country Club was not interested in participating in this proposal.

Environmental (Butterwick/MacKrell) No report.

Long Range Planning (MacKrell) No report.

Personnel (Langford) No report.

Roads/Vehicles (Al-Awar) No report.

Water (Davis) No report.

Zoning/ZO Revision (Perry) No report.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS No public comment was received concerning the three proposed ordinances.
Ordinance No. 49 (
repeal ordinances 13, 17, 22) was adopted as printed. (MacKrell/Butterwick/P)
Ordinance No. 50 (Planning Commission) was adopted as printed. (Langford/MacKrell/P)
Ordinance No. 51 (civil infraction procedure) was adopted as printed. (Butterwick/Langford/P)
Current BHV signs related to bicycles (Ordinance No. 40) will be replaced with signs that address both bicycles and pedestrians (Ordinance No. 46).
